Hillary and Cody get Married!

My cousin/sibling, Hillary got married this past weekend and we couldn't have been more thrilled to be a part of the festivities!

The night before the wedding we all finally got to meet and cuddle the newest member of the Glidden Family: Elliott Thomas! The kids are obviously in love and couldn't stop talking about holding him.

On Saturday morning before the wedding Gabe took the kids to visit with Grampy Grampy who was up visiting from Florida.  They were excited to play with other cousins and to get out in the tube.

The wedding was beautiful. We all got to hangout and visit with family we don't see often enough. We ended the night with fireworks and drove home late at night capping off an awesome weekend.

VBS and Track Camp

Maybe in some subconscious effort to get back into the swing of school year chaos we did vacation bible school, finished track camp, and attending a special wedding all in one week.  We had a ton of fun, but are all ready for some relaxing to finish out the summer.  

Fresh Air Fund Visit- 2018

We actually had an unofficial Fresh Air Fund visit this summer. Sha goes to school though most of the summer now, so we drove to Boston to pick him up and had a great week none the less!  We had a wonderfully windy day for kite flying. Fishing is always a fun time at the Wilson Lake boat launch and we even had a dragon fly visitor who wouldn't leave my shoulder.  We spent some time on the boat tubing, had lots of s'mores, and snuck in some disc golf.  We even took a short hike to Poplar Falls and some of the kids got in for a swim in the frigid water.  James was really the only one brave enough to swim right up to the waterfall:)  We had another fun and exhausting week with our friend. Thanks for visiting again Sha!
