We had one last birthday celebration for Ben and his friend Carter who have birthdays close to one another. All Ben wanted for his birthday was to eat out at hibachi so we made the earliest possible reservation for as soon as they opened and set out for our fist restaurant foray since March. There was almost no one else there and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
Technically we started school this week. When everyone else went back for their "first day" we hiked up White Cap in Rumford. We have spent the week doing some school things as well as processing our tomatoes and generally enjoying the continued nice weather. Hopefully next week we will be organized enough to get started with the curriculum in earnest:)
