Thanksgiving falls a bit late this year and is causing issues for our Christmas preparations, but it means that locals week (free skiing for us) at Sugarloaf falls during Thanksgiving week! That paired with some great early snow makes for an exciting week. After about a foot of new snow on Sunday, Gabe and Noah made the trip to Sugarloaf on Monday to check out the conditions. Given that they were fantastic, on Tuesday Gabe took Noah, Ben, & Audrey with him. Wednesday we, responsibly, took the day off from skiing for chores and school. Wednesday night we got another 10 inches of snow, so the kids and I went to Sugarloaf for Thanksgiving while Gabe worked. I was really hoping for a Bag burger as Thanksgiving dinner, but sadly they were closed.
Saturday we were super fortunate to have lots of guests over for Thanksgiving dinner! In other news this week, Ben has created this WWI trench warfare battle scene out of Legos that he is planning to display at our library.
